Product

We are ball valve manufacturers in China with API 6D certificate. The ball valve product includes carbon steel ball valve, stainless and duplex steel ball valves. The size covers: 1/2" -60" (DN15-1500), Class 150-2500, with flanged, welding or threaded ends, covering body material of carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex steel.

A ball valve is a type of valve that uses a spherical perforated obstruction (a rotary ball) to stop and start the hydraulic flow. A ball valve is usually rotated 90° around its axis to open and close. It is one of the most widely used valve types. Ball valves are suitable for both liquid and gas services.

Basic Features

  • Anti-blowout stem
  • Anti-static device
  • Fire safe design
  • Self-relieving seat

Advantages:

  • A quarter turn through the valve allows for quick opening and closing.
  • It is very easy to use.
  • Application as an isolation valve (on and off)
  • Suitable for emergency shutdown conditions.

Design Types:

  • Floating or Trunnion-mounted
  • Soft-seated and metal-seated
  • Full bore and reduced bore
  • Body types: side entry, top entry, split body, or welded body.
  • Single / double piston effect
  • DBB/DIB

Standard Specifications:

Design API 6D/API 608/BS5351 Face to Face Dimension API 6D
Inspection and Testing API 6D/API 598 Wall Thickness API 6D
Flange End Dimension ASME B16.5, B16.47 Butt Weld End ASME B16.25
Fire Safe Design API 607/API 6FA Socket Weld ASME B16.11

Valve Ends:

  1. Flanged ends with raised faces or ring joint faces
  2. Threaded ends
  3. Socket-weld ends
  4. Butt-weld ends

Valve Operator:

Ball valves can be operated by a lever, wrench, hand wheel, or pneumatic, hydraulic, or motor.
A ball valve is rotated in a clockwise direction to close and an anti-clockwise direction to open.
The maximum lever length is 450mm, and the maximum hand wheel diameter is the greater of the valve face-to-face dimension or 800mm, whichever is less.

A gear operator is required to be provided for valves as per the below criteria:
6" & larger for Class 150 ball valves
4" & larger for Class 300 & Class 600 ball valve
3" & larger for Class 900 ball valve and onwards

Main Applications:

The ball valves are mainly for oil and gas production, refineries, chemical and petrochemical complexes, and the power industry for on-off functions.

Gas and oil production: in subsea isolation and shut-down facilities, for oil-head isolation, pipeline surge control, processing separation, storage, transmission, and distribution, secondary and enhanced oil recovery.

Refineries: as shut-off and isolation valves for tower bottom lines and thermal-cracking units; gas/oil separation lines; gas distribution measuring, metering, and pressure regulation stations; oil loading control stations; pumping and compressor stations; emergency shut-down loops; refining units, etc.

Chemical and petrochemical complexes: for low differential pressure control; for emission control; for handling highly viscous fluids and abrasive slurries in process and storage facilities.

Power industry: for boiler feedwater control, as burner trip valves, for control and shut-off of steam, etc.

Pulp and paper industry: as shut-off valves, in pulp mill digesters, batch-digester blow service, liquor fill and circulation, lime mud flow control, dilution water control, etc.
